Yoori S. Marti commenced her piano studies at the age of four and enjoys teaching piano at her home studio as much as performing at venues and churches. Her interests and talents expand over many genres in the field of liberal and musical arts. Degrees include English literature, art history and piano performance. Yoori specialized in 14th and 16th century Italian Renaissance art at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana during her masters program with a concentration in trecento Sienese frescoes. She received her piano performance certificate from University of Texas in Arlington under John Solomons.

Yoori was the Concert & Artist Director with Steinway Hall Dallas – Fort Worth – Plano and has organized recitals and programs for Steinway Artists and concert pianists and musicians at Steinway Hall including John Owings, The Five Browns, Andrey Ponochevny, Dmitri Ratser, Chee-Yun and Emanuel Borok since 2009. Yoori serves as the Vice President of Arlington Music Teachers Association and works closely with other local and national music teachers associations such as TMTA, MTNA and DMTA. She serves on the board of Dallas Symphony Orchestra Guild as the Gala Chair and works closely with other music venues such as Van Cliburn Foundation, Latino Cultural Center, Orchestra of New Spain, Dallas Bach Society, Dallas Modern Music and Voices of Change as well as Southern Methodist University and University of Texas at Arlington to help promote great music in the community. She is also on the board of Dallas Chamber Music and Asian-American Performing Arts of Texas.
