Todd began playing the bass in middle school in his home town of Marshall Texas. While in high school he played in school ensembles as well as participating in the Arklatex Youth Symphony Orchestra. Todd received his bachelor’s degree in music performance in 2006 and subsequently earned master’s degrees in both music performance and music education in 2009. Currently he is working toward completion of his Artist Certificate from Southern Methodist University. Todd has performed with the Dallas Opera, Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra, Irving Symphony Orchestra, and the Shreveport Symphony. The performance of chamber music is one of Todd’s greatest passions; he has played in chamber music festivals in Weimar Germany, St. George Grand Caymans, and most recently in Taos New Mexico.
