Jacqueline Audas is an 18 year old senior at Boise High School. For the past 7 years, she studied with Arkady Fomin, director of the New Dallas Conservatory, and member of the Clavier Trio and the Dallas Symphony. This fall, she will enter the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University to study with Paul Kantor. Jacqueline has performed in master classes for Vadim Gluzman, Ida Kavafian, Rachel Barton Pine, Grigory Kalinovsky, and Paul Kantor.
Jacqueline made her solo debut at the age of 14 with the Meridian Symphony, as the winner of their young artist competition. Since then she has performed as a soloist with the Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, the Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra in Durango, Colorado, the Symphony of Toys in Dallas, the Boise Philharmonic and the Walla Walla Symphony. For the last four years, she has placed 1st in the Idaho State Music Education Association’s state solo violin competition.
