Come join us for the final two concerts of our 8th season!

April 22, 2018 at Collora Piano – Curated by Margaret Fischer, “Water Music” dives into the depths of the various mythologies that surround this vital yet dangerous element. Featured on this program is American composer Kevin Puts’s “Seven Seascapes,” a lush evocation of the sea, each movement accompanied by an excerpt from various poetry.

May 14, 2018 at Christ United Methodist Church (Plano) – “Haute Hot” – Showing off the diverse capabilities of the piano quintet, E75 Artistic Director joins the Cezanne Quartet in a concert of concerti by Mozart and Gershwin, as well as performing the epic Piano Quartet in C minor by Johannes Brahms.

Ensemble75 is proud to present the first concert of the 2017-2018 season. E75 newcomer Stirling Trent is a Texas native, born and raised in Colleyville, Texas and whose primary teachers include Jan Sloman, Itzhak Perlman, and Midori Goto. He will be joined by violinist Chloé Trevor ("musical ambassador to Generation Z" and the most followed classical musician on Instagram [over 130,000 followers!]) and E75 Artistic Director Jonathan Tsay in a program featuring music for every combination including two violins and piano by Handel, Chopin, Prokofiev, Kreisler, Miklós Rózsa, and Moszkowski.

Ensemble75 was founded in the summer of 2010 when a group of young professional musicians met at steinway hall dallas with a goal in mind: to create a playground and laboratory where local emerging classical musicians could collaborate, hone, and share their skills.
